Group chats
We all work on different things, at different times of the day, in different location.
This is called asynchronous working.
We use Rock.so, our group chat tool to help us work this way.

Group chat helps us work asynchronously
We work at different times of the day, but we need to chat with each other. Instead of meeting, we leave messages in group chats.
Most projects have two group chats
Each project usually has an internal group and one with the client in it (if the client wants to collaborate). The client chat.
You can chat 1:1 but group chats are better
It is important to be transparent with the client and the rest of the team. Managers and clients need to know what is going on, so they can contribute or understand.
Respond quickly to clients
Even though there is no need to respond immediately, it is important to respond in good time. Under 1 hour is ideal.
Attend catch-up calls
Group chats are good for most things, but it isn’t a substitute for real-time conversation.
Be sure to have regular (weekly) catch up calls with colleagues, clients and managers, to clear the air and to fill in the gaps created by too much group chatting.
