Don't make me think

People don’t want to think about how to use your website.

Make the information easy to understand and relevant to the user.

Keep your text plain and simple in a language that a child could understand.

Keep the logo on the left, where it’s expected.

Don’t hide text in tabs or accordions unless there is so much text that it’s needed.

Keep paragraphs short and put heading on them, so I don’t have to read unless I know I want to.

Keep everything spaced out, so it’s easy to scan.
