Let management check your emails before sending in the first few weeks.

Use a polite but friendly tone.
When writing to clients, be polite, friendly, and simple.
Be professional

Keep a certain distance and professionalism, but don’t be too formal and official sounding.

Keep it short and simple

Clients are busy, they want you to be clear and simple—and to the point. 

However, don’t fail to explain things or go into detail when it’s needed.

 

Don't be too casual!

Don’t be overly friendly, or informal 

Don’t use laid-back, colloquial expressions like, “Hey you guys,” “Yo,” or “Hi folks.”, “I wanna know”.

Use your starfish (xxx@starfi.sh) email, not your personal email. Use the signature below. Ask a coordinator for a copy.
