Drive projects forward
Ensure that staff (or yourself) can dedicate enough time to ensure that all projects under you ownership move forward.
Ensure formal (or informal) scope is followed
Keep scopes of work in check by knowing what the scope is and making sure its kept to.
Ensuring specialists are doing a good job
Staff may lack experience, or they may be too busy. Coordinate with HR to let them know your concerns.
Coordination between client and team
Set meetings. Ensure that everyone is communicating and has a clear picture of the objectives.
Ensure specialists coordinate with client
If it makes sense for a specialist to talk directly with client. E.g. keeping them up to date on progress, discussing a technical matter.
Ensure people understand instructions
Information from the client should be checked and understood by the coordinator before passing on.
Coordination with consultant
To ensure high quality output and efficiency, you need to seek weekly advice and collaboration on each project.
Without this, projects won’t have the required expertise.
Encourage collaboration amongst Starfish team
Ensure that team members seek advice and help from each other.
Get them to reach out to the consultant or other specialists.
