Polishing Tasks
In theory, the build phase is an internal activity mostly carried out by the developer.
Polishing happens with the help of the client.
In practice, the two phases are often muddled as the developer never has perfect instructions to build the website without input.
However, its important to try and keep the two activities as separate tasks to preserve budget on fixed priced projects.
What is website polishing
Polishing refers to the adding final content and making adjustments to the website after its been built.
Why is this necessary
The layouts made in visual planning are always rough approximations of how things will look.
After they are built, there will always be things that don’t work out as visualized.
Because when the website gets made in doesn’t the client’s content is only an estimate.
After the content has been added, things will always need to be adjusted.

Rounds of revisions
To limit work done after build, there has to be a distinction made between adjusts and modifications.
For projects with tight budgets, the rounds of revisions concept might need to be enforced and limited, as stated in the contract.
