Attendance & Work Scheduling

The Work from Home Attendance (in Rock.so) is the place to notify others about your schedule.

Managing Expectations

Since we work as a tight team, it’s important to keep people informed of your movements, so that they can plan around you and remain productive.

If you will be absent, email

As much as possible, do it a day before being absent. Rock contact: Ara/ Gelyn/ Sharmaine.

If you need a long leave or absence, then send email to sharmaine.loto@starfi.sh

Work on time and meet your deadlines

Be considerate enough to work on time and meet the deadlines for your tasks. If you don’t, others who are relying on your work will miss their deadlines too.

If you have project issues, let others know FAST

If you are having issues with a project you are handling, let others know, so they can respond quickly. Message the coordinators/project manager, specially if you think you won’t be able to meet the deadline or if you are having difficulties proceeding with your tasks.

Let others know WHEN you will work

Mention what you will be working on. This will help others, specially the coordinators / management, to organize projects and schedules.

If you're late or absent, let others know

Notify others if you will be late or if you won’t be able to work in the meantime due to unexpected errands, Wi-Fi issues, etc.

As much as possible, don’t be absent

If there is something that is troubling you with regard to work which leads you to be ill or exhausted, always inform the management, so we can work on it.

Don’t take too many projects all at once
If you think you have a lot of tasks already, make sure others know and learn to say no when asked to make another extra task.
